BUT IT CAN'T CANCEL PRIDE

The Ladner LGBTQ+ community is here and we are proud!

This project was created to highlight the queer community in Ladner and their diversity. Our hope is that this will show those who are closeted, feeling alone or just proud to be LGBTQ+ that in Ladner, you are accepted. LGBTQ+ youth are 3 times more likely to have suicidal thoughts than their heterosexual peers, but studies find that with community support, that risk is lowered.

Featuring six stories of members of the LBGT+ community and two encouraging messages from allies, we hope you enjoy your time here, in this virtual celebration of pride!
